Great Lakes Refill Co. | Melissa Matthews and Lisa Ladouceur

Melissa and Lisa grew up in Wyoming on their family’s farm. Therefore, these sisters understand the pride that comes from sustainable stewardship; a large driving factor behind opening Great Lakes Refill Co., Sarnia’s first zero-waste store and bulk refill bar. Their mission is to provide the Sarnia-Lambton community with access to package-free personal and home care products helping to reduce single use plastic waste.

Sod Buster Brewing Company | Mike Noltie

The satisfaction Mike felt over his friend's enjoyment of his homebrew left him wondering how he could bring his product to the public; now, a contract brewer and owner of Sod Buster Brewing Company he can do just that. As the popularity of Sod Buster Brewery grows so do Mike’s ambitions.

Something as simple as a cookie or a cake can put a great big smile on someone’s face, and Jennifer loves the joy her deserts bring. Jennifer’s passion is evident in her beautiful works of edible art, and she strives for perfection – you must love it as much as she does. Anything you can imagine, House of Cake will create as the only thing Jennifer loves more than baking is a challenge.
