Peter Cliff

My name is Peter Cliff.  My family moved to the Sarnia area in 1963 where my Dad worked for Imperial Oil.  I grew up in Wyoming and was a Credit Union member in the 70’s.  I went to high school in Petrolia and moved away to study Engineering in Waterloo and Business in Calgary.  I met my wife, Rita, 36 years ago while working in Chatham and my career has moved us all over since then.  I have worked for companies in North and South America, Asia and Europe.  Wherever we have been, I’ve volunteered in local activities to help the community.  After 36 years we have retired and have moved back home to be close to family and friends.  We are currently building a home in Plympton-Wyoming and look forward to re-joining the community.

Jim Maw

Jim Maw farms with his son and daughter-in-law on about 2000 acres between Corunna and Brigden. Jim has brought extensive co-operative leadership experience to the Southwest board through his involvement with AGRIS Co-operative. Jim is in his 21st year as an AGRIS director serving as president for 2 years. After completing extensive governance and financial training he obtained the Advanced Director Certification in the GROWMARK system. He has served 6 years on the Southwest board completing all necessary training. During this time Jim has been a member of the Audit Committee. As a retired process operator from Shell and Union Executive member he has gained lots of people and life skills. Jim continues to use technology and innovation to make his farm efficient and sustainable.
