Wayne Freer

Education - Graduated from St Clair Secondary School followed by employment as an audit clerk for a local accounting firm during which time I enrolled in the Certified General Accountants program. Interfacing with local business and preparation of corporate tax returns and personal income tax was part of my responsibility before moving on to office manager for local hardware supply company.

1974-2004 employed as Senior Process Operator at Shell Canada Refinery, Corunna. Currently retired from Shell.

1993-2013 - Owned and operated Medical Equipment Maintenance Company, STS Specialized Technical Services Inc. covering over 2500 locations across Ontario.

Community involvement - Currently serving as Pastor at Community Of Christ Church, LaSalle Road Congregation. Past President and current Vice President of Western Ontario Outlaws Extreme Lawn Tractor Racing based in Petrolia. Active member of Kidney March which raises over 1 million dollars annually to help fight Kidney Disease.

It has been my pleasure to serve as a Board member for the past 6 years and be part of the decision process that has brought us to historical levels. Your continued support is appreciated.

Tracy Kingston

I am a long-time resident of Corunna, married to Rob for 38 years and have 2 adult daughters. I have always been a proud member of my community and continue to be involved in many ways.

As an active member of the Optimist Club of Moore, Optimist Zone 6 Lt. Governor, Chair of the St. Clair Township Heritage and Abandoned Cemeteries committees, member of the St. Clair Township Committee of Adjustment, Moore Museum Advisory and St. Clair River Trail Committee member, Chair of the Corunna 200 Celebrations and St. Clair Township Councillor 2014 – 2022 and Mayoral candidate in 2022, I know the importance of contributing to the well being of my community.

I worked in our family business KAY’S Petals & Plants for 45 years and was the owner for 13 years. This gave me a wealth of experience in all aspects of operating a small business. As a long time member of the Credit Union I feel Southwest could benefit from more female and retail representation on the Board and I would like to take on this challenge to help shape its future.
Sincerely,
Tracy Kingston
